Abstract

Over the past 40 years, cross-coupling reactions catalyzed by transition-metal complexes, typically those with Pd centers, have been extensively studied.[1] Their essential role in contemporary organic chemistry was recognized with the Nobel Prize in Chemistry in 2010. Csp2–Csp2 cross-coupling processes are especially relevant, as the biaryl structural is found in a wide range of organic derivatives, from supramolecular to natural products.[2] ...
