Abstract

Abstract Substitution reactions of the tosyl group in 2-fluorotosylates seem to be easier than in homologous non-fluorinated tosylates [1, 2]. Accordingly, the reaction of NH 2 NH 2 on these 2-fluorotosylates was investigated, and hitherto unknown 2- fluoromonoalkylhydrazines were obtained in acceptable yields.
