Abstract
The preparation of depsides by the method of ditrerential saponification, anhydride formation E. Fischer* involves several disadvantages, no-and migration are all avoided. The method is tably differential saponification to remove the capable of considerable extension. The properprotecting group, anhydride formation, and ties of the compounds involved are listed in the migration of certain acyl groups. table.
