Abstract

A series of mono-and di-ortho-substituted benzoylcholine compounds has been prepared and the rates of hydroxide ion and cholinesterase catalysed hydrolysis has been determined for each compound. The anti-acetylcholinesterase activities of the compounds have also been determined.
