Abstract

Preparation of SF 5 CSH from SF, CBr= CHBr. A three-necked round-bottomed Pyrex vessel, equipped with a Teflon stirring bar, a separatory funnel, a nitrogen-inlet tube, and a reflux condenser that was connected to a trap cooled to-78" C (or-196" C) and protected from the atmosphere by a mercury bubbler, was used for the debromination reaction.
