Abstract

42 Walls and Whittaker: Potevttial TryPanocides of rather than the postulated complex with methyl sulphate. The failure of the cyclohexyi compound to yield quaternary salts is explicable by steric hindrance: models reveal that the cycZohexy1 group offers much more obstruction to accommodation of a methyl group on N (tb) than does a phenyl group.
