Abstract
Aromatic amines are intermediates in the production of agrochemicals, pharmaceuticals, dyes, polymers, and pigments.1 In general, aromatic amines are produced by a catalytic reduction of nitroarenes.2 However, other reducible groups could be reduced in the hydrogenation of nitroarenes.
