Abstract

Results from aromatic aminations and Kumada couplings, together with spectroscopic analyses (TEM, EDX, ICP-AES, React-IR), reveal that catalysis using nickel-on-charcoal (Ni/C) is most likely of a homogeneous rather than heterogeneous nature.
