Abstract
Summary The specific rotation of fructose has been measured accurately and systematically at temperatures from 0 to 90, and for concentrations from 5 to 40%. The values are without exception higher than those of previous investigators. The specific rotation can be expressed by an equation for p= 5 to 40% and fort= 10 to 90'.
