Abstract
As not all synthetic problems can be solved using the existing methods, novel protocols for the synthesis of hydroxamic acids are needed. In contrast to the microwave-assisted preparation of free hydroxamic acids, the microwave-assisted synthesis of O-protected hydroxamates has not been described before.
