Abstract
The biological activity of 2-phenoxyethylaniines arid cyclic compounds containing the same structural features has a long history which has been reviewed In more recent years a wide variety of highly active conipounds has been described; these include stimulants of autonomic ganglia3 and of skeletal inhibitors of aiiiirie oxidase,; long-lasting local anesthetics, 6 and the adrenergic-ncurone blocking dr~ gs.~-~
