Abstract

Difluoromethanimine, F2CNH, which is stable only below∼ 260 K has been synthesized by the reaction of F3CNH2 with triethylamine and characterized by 19F nmr and ir spectroscopy, from which all vibrational fundamentals and rotational constants were determined.
