Abstract

Flurbiprofen, a nonsteroidal antiinflammatory drug (NSAID), has been recently described to selectively inhibit β-amyloid1-42 (Aβ42) secretion, the most toxic component of the senile plaques present in the brain of Alzheimer patients.
