Abstract

Co (II), Ni (II), and Cu (II) complexes, ML2· 2H2O have been synthesized with Schiff bases derived from m-substituted thiosemicarbazides and 2-methoxy benzaldehyde. The complexes are soluble in DMF/DMSO and non-electrolytes. From analytical, spectral (IR, UV- Vis, ESR, and FAB-mass), magnetic and thermal studies octahedral geometry is proposed for the complexes.
