Abstract
N-Acyl derivatives of proline and 2-piperidinecarboxylic acid (pipecolic acid) were synthesized in moderate yield from N-acyl unsaturated cyclic amines through cobalt- catalyzed isomerization–carboxylation under hydroformylation conditions in the presence of H 2 O.
