Abstract

The-(alkylthio)-configuration has been assigned to the thermodynamically stable form of the- alkyl thiohydroximates from the results of Beckmann rearrangements on both geometrical isomers. The-(alkylthio)-isomers undergo fragmentation under Beckmann conditions. The- (alkylthio)-isomers may be converted to the-is
