Abstract

May-Jun 1996 Synthesis and Structure Elucidation of New Cytotoxic Azathioxanthones 919 (5.0 g, 0.053 mole) dissolved in water (50 ml) was added. The mixture was allowed to stand overnight, the aqueous layer decanted and the residual oil was refluxed for a few minutes with 10% aqueous potassium hydroxide solution (50 ml).
