Abstract

We report the synthesis and structure of iridium(I) complexes with N,N′-disubstituted perimidine carbene ligands and halides or carboxylate ligands. Iodo-, chloro-, and acetate-Ir(carbene)(cod ) complexes were selectively prepared by changing the bases and silver salts.
