Abstract
Abstract Two novel modified 2′-deoxyuridine triphosphates carrying an azide functionality linked to the nucleobase were synthesized. For probing the sterical influence on enzymatic incorporation and Staudinger ligation, differently sized flexible linkers were chosen.
