Abstract
Abstract The Grignard reaction with 2-, 3-or 4-halogenoalkoxysilanes does not lead to stable organomagnesium derivatives. Besides, or sometimes instead of, the normally expected elimination, a coupling or a disproportionation reaction takes place.
