Abstract
Recently a number of compounds resembling physiologically active substances, but having fluurine substituted for hydroxyl groups, have been prepared. Schiemann and Winkelmdller2 prepared 4-fluorophenylalanine, the analog of tyrosine, and fluorine-substituted beta- phenylethylamines similar to tyramine.
