Abstract

Easily available N-(diethoxyphosphoryl)-O-benzylhydroxylamine was shown to be convenient, orthogonally protected substrate for regioselective N-alkylation by means of diverse halides under basic conditions (sodium hydride/tetrabutylammonium bromide).
