Abstract

Organosilicon compounds of the type F (CH2hSiR3 (R= Cl, F, CH3, C2 H5, and OC2 H5) were synthesized. Preparative utility of the following three methods was compared: the addition of silicon hydrides to allyl fluoride, halogen exchange reaction of y- chloropropylsubstituted silanes with metal fluorides and of y-hydroxypropylsilanes with the Yarovenko reagent.
