Abstract

Introduction In relation to kinetic studies which examined the effects of remote substituents on the copper(11)-promoted solvolyses of nickel(@ complexes in dimethyl sulphoxide (dmso),' we report the preparations and some brief characterization studies on chelates containing tridentate [mainly (ONS) donor set] and tetradentate (cis-02N2) Schiff base ligands.
