Abstract

In a preceding communication3 the preparations of benzimidazoles with substituents on the 4 (7)-and 6 (5)-positions were described. Continuing the search for benzimidazoles possessing potential antimetabolite activity (purine, vitamin B12, folic acid) a number of sulfur-containing derivatives have been added to this group.
