Abstract

In pursuance of our research for the development of novel COX-2 inhibitors, 6 and 7 we were interested in developing 1,2-diaryl-1-ethanone 1 and Scheme 1 and pyrazolo [4,3-c] quinoline-4-one 1 and Scheme 2 as novel pharmacophores for selective COX-2 inhibition and wish to report our preliminary results in this communication.
