Abstract
Treatment of allylic (±)-p-toluenesulfinates with tetrakis (triphenylphosphine) palladium in the presence of chiral phosphine ligands underwent allylic sulfinate-sulfone rearrangements to give the corresponding optically active allylic sulfones in high optical yields.
