Abstract

Results Preparation of the Substrates. Since information on the synthesis and stereochemistry of the substrate ketones and related alcohols has been known, except for 2- brendanone type ketones 8 and 9 and their related alcohols, our study was started from earlier preparation and the endo-exo configurational assignment of the stereoisomeric alcohols.
