Abstract
Plasmodium falciparum thymidylate kinase (Pf TMPK) is a key enzyme in pyrimidine nucleotide biosynthesis. 3-Trifluoromethyl-4-chloro-phenyl-urea-α-thymidine has been reported as an inhibitor of Mycobacterium tuberculosis TMPK (Mt TMPK).
