Method B. 5, 6, 8, 9-Tetrahydro-7-phenyldibenzo [c, h] xanthylium tetrafluoroboratel*(6)(4.48 g, 0.01 mol), the corresponding amine (0.01 mol), and triethylamine (1.01 g, 0.01 mol) were stirred in CH2C12 (30 mL) for 3 h at room temperature.
