Abstract
Selective processes that afford functionalized derivatives from the reaction of nonactivated CÀH bonds are of current interest.[1] Bromination and chlorination reactions are valuable tools for this purpose with saturated hydrocarbons.[2] However, the related iodination is not so well developed.[3] Herein, we report on new iodination reactions of alkanes under mild thermal conditions.
