5. Conclusions LDF atomization energies are significantly greater for icosahedral Clm and Cw, than for icosahedral Cm Both of these larger fullerenes have only slightly smaller HOMO- LUMO gaps and ionization potentials than Cbo. Cso has an electron affinity that is smaller than the electron affinities of Ciao and CZ4 by 0.7 and 0.8 eV, respectively.
