Abstract

The 6H-iaoquin0 [2, 1-g][l, blnaphthyridine Rs-15385 (1) is a highly potent and selective antagonist of the a2-adrenoreceptor which was reported by Clark and coworkers in 1989.2 The compound displays an intriguing structural homology with a-yohimbine (2) and has proven to be a useful probe in neuropharma~ ology.~ The potential of this agent for the treatment of male sexual dysfunction (impotence)'has prompted studies in this laboratory ...
