Abstract

The pmr spectra of 3 and 5 (Table I) agree with the assigned structure and reasonably well with those of similar c~ mpounds.~ The samples of 5 prepared by both routes gave superimposable pmr and infrared spectra and showed no depression on mixture melting point.
