Abstract
In the conventional synthesis of 1, 4, 7-tris-(glutaric acid)-1, 4, 7-triazacyclononane (NOTGA), four isomeric species are usually generated by the alkylation of 1, 4, 7- triazacyclononane with α-bromoglutaric acid diester.
