Abstract
p-phenylenediamine were obtained by the catalytic reduction of solutions of p-nitroaniline in methyl ethyl ketone and diethyl ketone, respectively. It was also found that N, N'-bis- isopropyl-p-phenylenediamine could be formed by the catalytic reduction at room temperature of a mixture of p-phenylenediamine and acetone.
