Abstract

The catalytic effect of the mixed micelles of lauroylamino acids (LauAm) and detergents on the hydrolysis of p-nitrophenyl acetate has been studied. The amino acids used for the synthesis of LauAm were glycine, serine, histidine, tyrosine, lysine, and arginine.
