Abstract
We previously reported1 a simple and mild synthesis of nitroacetamides, including N-nitroacetyl-L-proline esters. We also indicated that these could serve as useful precursors for modified peptides. We now report the Pdo-catalysed allylation of such a substrate, leading to moderate diastereoselectivity.
