Abstract
M 1 2 been focused on the pyramidalization of these olefin^,^,^ which possess tricycl0 [5.2. 1.0~~~] dec-2 (6)-ene (5) carbon skeleton as a partial framework. Recently, the synthesis of 5 was independently achieved by Bartlett8 and US.^ It is particularly interesting to compare the chemical behavior of 5 in comparison with that of 1 and 2. We now provide details of the preparation as well as some reactions of the olefin 5.
