Abstract

Abstract A series of novel 2, 3-diaryl-3, 4-dihydro-2H-1, 3-benzoxazines have been prepared in high yields from o-arylaminomethylphenols and aromatic aldehydes in the presence of SnCl 4 for the first time, and their fungicidal activities were investigated too. Some of the products showed good fungicidal activities against Rhizoctonia solani justified by 100% activity of compound 1b. J. Heterocyclic Chem.,(2010)
