Abstract
Abstract The synthesis and biochemical evaluation of estrone sulfatase inhibitors are described. Inhibitors were designed through modifications of the substrate estrone sulfate. An in vitro assay using the microsomal fraction isolated from human term placenta was used to evaluate sulfatase inhibitory activity.
