Abstract

Acetylenes represent an important class of compounds with a broad range of applications as versatile reagents, linkers, or ligands,[1] and numerous novel reactions involving, for instance, cycloadditions,[2] cross-couplings,[3] and alkyne metathesis [4] have been developed during the last few decades. The reactivity and electronic properties of alkynes are largely dictated by the nature of their substituents and the degree of conjugation. ...
