Abstract

Aliphatic amines are very important synthetic targets for the scientific community as they exhibit useful properties for employment in a wide variety of industries.(1) More specifically, N,N-dialkylaminomethyl- and amidomethyl compounds are widely encountered in alkaloid natural products and synthetic therapeutic drugs.(2) Reductive amination of aldehydes(3, 4) and reduction of nitriles(4, 5) appear to be the most common methods utilized to obtain these ...
