Abstract
Summary Laser flash photolysis at 354.7 nm in the ligand field absorption region of (CO), W= C (OMe) Ph in solution results in prompt formation of a transient with a microsecond lifetime. Evidence for primary photodissociation of CO is presented, in agreement with earlier steady-state photolysis studies? but the transient decay is independent of CO concentration in solution. It is concluded on the basis of both kinetic and resonance ...
