Abstract

For various 1-MAG lipids, a shorthand nomenclature, NT-MAG, was used to denote the carbon numbers for the respective neck and tail of each single alkyl chain separated by the cis-double bond (Figure [¹] ). [4] [5] Accordingly, monoolein is abbreviated 9.9-MAG. Scheme [¹] outlines our new synthetic route to a series of NT-MAG lipids.
