Abstract

Abstract Formation of complexes between phosphorus halides and 4-dimethylaminopyridine or N-methylimidazole was studied. The following phosphorus halides: trichloride, oxychloride, and sulfochloride, were found to form equilibrium mixtures of the complexes containing different numbers of the ligand molecules.
