Abstract

Results All oxidation reactions were carried out in the dark and under nitrogen atmosphere. Moreover, owing to the low solubility of CAN in acetic acid, ca. 8 XM at room temperature, heterogeneous conditions, the only ones suitable for synthetic purposes, were generally used. Some experiments under homogeneous conditions were also brought about for comparison purposes.
