Abstract

The synthesis, characterization, and solid-state structures of new salicylaldimines are reported. Bis (N-salicylideneaniline) s (BSANs) and tris (N-salicylideneaniline) s (TSANs) are sterically encumbered compounds featuring a central six-membered ring in the keto- enamine tautomer.
