Abstract

Summary Oxindole and N-alkylated-oxindole derivatives have been prepared in which the 3- position holds the hydroxyl and the aminomethyl groups, and the 5-or 7-position is occupied, respectively, by the amino or carboxyl group. For certain of these products benzoyl, urethan, and urea derivatives are described.
