Abstract

Several neutral and cationic methyl palladium complexes with bidentate ligands of phosphorus–nitrogen (P∼ N) donors which form five-or six-membered chelates have been synthesized and characterized. Carbonylation of these complexes generates the corresponding stable Pd–acetyl complexes.
